Deborah Sacks

Deborah is an independent waste planning consultant with experience in both public and private sectors. Trained as a chartered surveyor, she moved into planning and regeneration, working on The Wixhams in Bedfordshire and Northstowe in Cambridgeshire as well as masterplans and regeneration schemes nationwide.  At the East of England Regional Assembly she specialised in waste planning, developing the evidence base for the regional policies, taking these policies through public consultation and subsequent examination and adoption.

Deborah now advises local authorities and private sector clients on the delivery of waste infrastructure and meeting statutory policy requirements.

Deborah has extensive experience in community engagement both in London and in rural areas both in the role of councillor and professional advisor.
